General Care & Maintenance for Outdoor Furniture

• Always use protective covers and/or store indoors when not in use or during inclement weather.
• Never allow snow or water to accumulate on covered furniture.
• Clean by spraying down with a hose, except for cushions. It is not recommended to power wash.
• For dust and debris, vacuum using a brush attachment.
• For more difficult stains and/or dirt, use a mixture of mild dish soap and water or 303 Multi-Surface Cleaner.
• Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaners and other cleaning products such as steel wool.
• To prolong colour fastness and luster, use 303 UV Protectant.
• Do not leave items on surfaces, especially plants that may discolor the finish.
• Do not place hot or very cold items directly on surfaces – use coasters, placemats and/or trivets. Lift and carry furniture – never drag.

Cushion and Pillow Care & Maintenance

• Clean regularly to eliminate the need for deeper cleaning.
• Vacuum using an upholstery brush attachment.
• Spot wash with a solution of water and mild dish soap.
• For more difficult stains use 303 Multi-Surface Cleaner.
• Do not machine wash or put cushions in the dryer.
• Store cushions indoors, in a storage box or use a cover when not in use.
• Keep cushions dry; if wet, stand them up vertically in a sunny, dry place.
• To prolong colour fastness, use 303 UV Protectant.
• It is recommended to use 303 Fabric Guard for stain and water resistance.

Resin Wicker Warranty

D.O.T. Furniture offers a five-year warranty on the aluminum frames and a two-year warranty on the resin wicker against all defects in materials and workmanship under normal usage conditions. All warranty work must be assessed by the service centre and is only valid with an original receipt.

EXCLUSIONS:

Warranty does not include nor cover normal fading and discoloration, normal wear and tear, scratches, chips, misuse, abuse, neglect, the use of improper cleaning products, use of sun-tan oils or other chemicals, vandalism, damages due to improper assembly, acts of nature such as wind, freezing, etc. and other circumstances beyond defects in material and workmanship. Warranty also does not include delivery, pick up or on-site inspection.

Resin Wicker Care and Maintenance

Resin Wicker is becoming one of the most popular choices in outdoor furniture. The best way to keep resin wicker looking like new is to take steps to prevent damage from the elements by using a protective cover. The simplest and most inexpensive method to keeping your furniture clean is to pull out the hose and spray it down. Occasionally, when simple hosing off the outdoor furniture does not work, a simple mixture of mild dish soap and water is your best solution. The most important things to avoid are corrosive or abrasive cleaners and other cleaning products such as steel wool that may permanently scratch the surfaces.
