Online Shopping
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to orders@dot-furniture.com within 24 hours from the time the order is placed. At Dot Furniture we understand that cancellations are an unfortunate part of shopping online. Sometimes the incorrect item is ordered, or you simply just had a change of heart. We want you to love your new furniture purchase with us; this is why we allow our customers up to 24 hours to cancel an order from the time it is placed. Dot Furniture will process your order after the 24-hour grace period has passed. If you do not notify us of any changed within the 24-hour grace period, the customer will be responsible for a cancellation or restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price as well as the return shipping fees that may apply.
In some cases items will be backordered and out of stock. You will be notified within 48 hours with an estimated delivery time, at which time you may opt to cancel your order at no additional charge. We cannot give out exact delivery dates since we are waiting for these products from the factories. In some cases this can take up to 16 weeks.

Returns & Exchanges
Merchandise that is new, unused, and in its original packaging may be returned for a refund or credit within 7 days of delivery accompanied with an original receipt.
If there is nothing wrong with the merchandise and you simply do not like the choice you made, the item may be returned within 7 days of delivery or pick-up for a refund or in-store credit minus a 20% restocking fee. You are responsible for all return shipping costs. Refunds will be processed based on the original method of payment.
Merchandise cannot be refunded when in transit.
Refunds must be returned to the original store location from which they were purchased.
Cash Sales will be refunded by DOT Furniture company cheque and will be mailed within 7 to 10 business days.
There is a $250 limit for debit refunds. Any amounts exceeding this limit will be refunded by cheque and will be mailed within 7 to 10 business days.
If an item is delivered damaged, please report it to us within 24 hours with a detailed description of the issue along with a photo by opening a ticket here. It will then be assessed so that the item will be repaired, replaced or credited towards another item. Goods requiring assembly need special care when handling. Inspect all parts and hardware BEFORE assembly. Valid part and/or hardware claims must be made PRIOR to assembly. Damages resulting from assembly errors and/or mishandling of parts, most notably scratches, are not covered by warranty.In the event the furniture does not fit into the room or into the house, the customer is responsible for the freight cost both ways and a 20% restocking fee, no exceptions.

Delivery & Shipping
When the merchandise is received, we ask that you inspect the outside of the boxes or packaging for any shipping damage. In the event there is noticeable damage to the boxes or packaging, we ask that this is noted on the freight bill as “damaged cartons – subject to inspection”. If you find there is damage to the product contact us at info@dot-furniture.com within 24 hours of receiving.
Local deliveries can take up to 2 weeks. An email will be sent within 5 days of your order with the delivery details. If your order is beyond the local delivery zones, it may take longer.
Dot Furniture currently ships within Canada. Each piece of furniture has a different shipping time, mainly depending on the manufacturer. Most furniture ships within 1-4 weeks from the date we process your order. We can also ship to the United States but not through an online order. Dot does local deliveries starting at $150, for a more accurate shipping quote email us at customersupport@dot-furniture.com with your address including postal code or enter your complete information in the checkout process.
No unfortunately delivery is not free or included with the price. Our shipping rates depend on the delivery address and the size of what is being delivered.

Assembly
The first thing you should do is contact the store where you made your purchase and they should be able to assist you. If it was an online purchase contact customersupport@dot-furniture.com via email
Yes, Dot provides assembly which is usually an additional fee of 10% of the price of the item. If you would like to purchase assembly online, simply select the assembly button on the product page of the item you wish to be assembled. If you are in-store, ask your sales associate to inquire about pricing or to add assembly to your purchase.
Repairs
Contact your local store and provide a sample if possible.
We do repair our umbrellas. You can take your damaged umbrella to your local Dot location where it will be assessed and shipped to the service centre for repair. Turn around time is 4 to 6 weeks.
We can repair most furniture. To be sure, send us a photo and description of the repair required to repairs@dot-furniture.com and we can quote you.
We do replace slings on patio furniture. Bring your chairs to your local Dot location and your sling chairs can be assessed for repairs. The turnaround time for sling repairs is 4 to 6 weeks.
If you do not have a vehicle large enough to transport your furniture, we do offer a pickup and re-delivery option for $300.
We do sell replacement glass for most of our tables. You must bring in your table frame for the glass to be fitted.
Shopping In-Store
If an item is out of stock at your local store it can be transferred to another store for your convenience.

Product Information
Dot offers several different outdoor fabrics choices that make it easy to select for your lifestyle and budget.
Spun-Poly is dyed in the spinning process making this fabric fade and water-resistant.
Dot Dura is similar to spun-poly, but is instead 100% solution-dyed, which means that each fabric yarn is dyed all the way through. This makes this option comparable to olefin in it’s fade and water-resistance.
Olefin is made from synthetic materials known as polyolefins. This material is dyed using the same process as DOTdura which gives it many of the same benefits, like colour fastness and water-resistance. Olefin is also known for its ability to wick away moisture and its great wear resistance.
Sunbrella is a high-quality fabric known for its superior resistance to the elements and comes with a higher price tag. It is made from solution-dyed acrylic (dyed to the core) and it will keep it’s colour for many years.
Dot Bella is made using the same materials and process as Sunbrella. It’s one of our high-performance fabrics that resists everything from mold to fading!
