D.O.T. Furniture currently ships within Canada. Each piece of furniture has a different shipping time, mainly depending on the manufacturer. Most furniture ships within 1-4 weeks from the date we process your order.

Out of Stock/Backorder Products

In some cases items will be backordered and out of stock. You will be notified within 48 hours with an estimated delivery time, at which time you may opt to cancel your order at no additional charge.  We cannot give out exact delivery dates since we are waiting for these products from the factories. In some cases this can take up to 16 weeks.

Shipping Damages

When the merchandise is received, we ask that you inspect the outside of the boxes or packaging for any shipping damage. In the event there is noticeable damage to the boxes or packaging, we ask that this is noted on the bill as “Damaged Cartons - Subject to inspection”. If you find there is damage to the product contact us at within 24 hours of receiving
with a detailed description of the issue along with a photo and we will take care of the rest.

Canceling or Changing Orders

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to within 24  hours from the time the order is placed.  At D.O.T. Furniture we understand that cancellations are an unfortunate part of shopping online. Sometimes the incorrect item is ordered, or you simply just had a change of heart. We want you to love your new furniture purchase with us; this is why we allow our customers up to 24 hours to cancel an order from the time it is placed. D.O.T. Furniture will process your order after the 24-hour grace period has passed.
If you do not notify us of any changes within the 24-hour window, D.O.T. Furniture will proceed with your order.
In the event of a cancellation of an order after the 24-hour grace period, the customer will be responsible for a cancellation or restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price as well as return shipping fees that may apply.

Refusing Delivery
If you return, refuse, or miss your delivery appointment you will be responsible for all return and any re-shipping costs.
Return Policy

Merchandise that is new, unused and in its original packaging may be returned for a refund or credit within 7 days of delivery accompanied with an original receipt.

If there is nothing wrong with the merchandise
and you simply do not like the choice you made, the item may be returned within 7 days of delivery or pick-up for a refund or credit minus a 20% restocking fee. You are responsible for all return shipping costs. Refunds will be processed based on the original method of payment.

If an item is delivered damaged, please report it to us within 24 hours with a detailed description of the issue along with a photo. It will then be assessed so that the item will be repaired, replaced or credited towards another item.
Goods requiring assembly need special care when handling. Inspect all parts and hardware BEFORE assembly. Valid part and/or hardware claims must be made PRIOR to assembly. Damages resulting from assembly errors and/or mishandling of parts, most notably scratches, are not covered by warranty.

In the event the furniture does not fit into the room or into the house, the customer is responsible for the freight cost both ways and a 20% restocking fee, no exceptions.

Please note it may take up to 30 days for the refund to post to your credit card statement.
