Protective Patio Covers Use and Care:
With proper care and protection, outdoor furniture can last for years to come. But proper use and care of protective covers, is equally as important. Only use covers on completely dry furniture to avoid trapping in moisture and avoid placing objects on top of furniture covers, which can cause mold or mildew. Our covers are rated for use between -35°C to 40°C and although we recommend covers to be used to protect your furniture during all seasons, it's important not to cover your furniture if it's too hot. It is also recommended to clean your furniture regularly with a good quality cleaner, especially before covering it for the season. It is key to make sure that ice, snow, or puddles of water are not allowed to collect on the cover to protect the integrity of the cover.
The main purpose of the protective patio cover is to protect your furniture but keeping it clean and dry is very important to the protection of your furniture and to the durability of the cover. Regular cleaning of your outdoor cover will eliminate the need for more frequent vigorous cleaning. Spot wash the cover with a sponge or soft bristle brush and a solution of water and mild dish soap. For more difficult stains a commercial stain remover may be used, follow the stain remover manufacturer's instructions and spot test. Do not machine wash or put the cover in the dryer.
