Merchandise that is new, unused and in its original packaging may be returned for a refund or credit within 7 days of delivery accompanied with original receipt If there is nothing wrong with the merchandise and you simply do not like the choice you made, the item may be returned for a refund or credit minus a 20% restocking fee. You are responsible for all return shipping costs. If you would like us to issue a call tag to pick the item from your home or business, you will be changed the cost of the pickup plus return shipping if any. If an item is delivered damaged, please report it to us within 24 hours and it will be repaired, problems before retuning it, so that we may properly set up a pick up from your location. If you do not wish to receive a repair or replacement for the damaged item, you may return the item for a credit or refund plus the cost of the return freight. In the event the furniture does not fit into the room or into the house, the customer is responsible for the freight cost both ways and a 20% restocking fee, no exceptions. Please note it may take up to 30 days for the refund to post to your credit card statement.
When the merchandise is received, we ask that you inspect the outside of the boxes or packaging for any shipping damage. In the event there is noticeable damage to the boxes or packaging, we ask that this is noted on the freight bill as “damaged cartons – subject to inspection”. If you find there is damage to the product contact us at info@dot-furniture.com within 24 hours of receiving and we will replace the merchandise.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@dot-furniture.com within 24 hours from the time the order is placed. At D.O.T. Furniture we understand that cancellations are an unfortunate part of shopping online. Sometimes the incorrect item is ordered, or you simply just had a change of heart. We want you to love your new furniture purchase with us; this is why we allow our customers up to 24 hours to cancel an order from the time it is placed D.O.T. Furniture will process your order after the 24-hour grace period has passed. If you do not notify us of any changed within the 24-hour grace period, the customer will be responsible for a cancellation or restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price as well as the return shipping fees that may apply.
D.O.T. Furniture currently ships within Canada. Each piece of furniture has a different shipping time, mainly depending on the manufacturer. Most furniture ships within 1-4 weeks from the date we process your order. We can also ship to the United States but not through an online order. In some cases items will be backordered and out of stock. You will be notified within 48 hours with an estimated delivery time, at which time you may opt to cancel your order at no additional charge. We cannot give out exact delivery dates since we are waiting for these products from the factories. In some cases this can take up to 16 weeks.
Your shipping date will be sent in an email to you within a couple days of your order.
The fabric most commonly used for outdoor cushions is Olefin fabric. It is resistant to fading, mildew, chemicals and insects. The fabric wicks away moisture and dries quickly. It is easy to clean, lightweight, strong, and is resistant to abrasion. We also carry some Sunbrella® cushions
If an item is out of stock at your local store it can be transferred there for your convenience.

Cast and Sling
D.O.T. Furniture offers a ten year warranty on the frame and one year warranty on the finish and fabric of all aluminum and sling furniture against the separation of seams and to be free from defects in material and workmanship. All warranty work must be assessed by the service centre and is only valid with an original receipt.

Resin wicker
D.O.T. Furniture offers a five-year warranty on the aluminum frames and a two-year warranty on the resin wicker against all defects in materials and workmanship under normal usage conditions. All warranty work must be assessed by the service centre and is only valid with an original receipt. Exclusions: Warranty does not include nor cover non-residential use, breakage of glass, normal fading and discolouration, normal wear and tear, scratched, chips, misuse, abuse, neglect, the use of improper cleaning products, use of sun-tam oils or other chemicals, vandalism, damages due to improper assembly, acts of nature such as wind, freezing, etc. and other circumstances beyond defects in material and workmanship. Warranty also does not include delivery, pick up or home inspection.

Umbrella and Gazebo
D.O.T. Furniture offers a one-year limited warranty on umbrellas and gazebos to be free from defects in material and workmanship. All warranty work must be assessed by the service centre and is only valid with original receipt. Cushions D.O.T. Furniture offers a one-year warranty on cushions to be free from defects in material and workmanship. All warranty work must be assessed by the service centre and is only valid with original receipt.

Sunbrella
This warranty protects against Sunbrella fabric becoming unserviceable due to colour or strength loss from normal usage and exposure conditions, including sunlight, mildew, and atmospheric chemicals.

Steel and Wrought
D.O.T. Furniture offers a one-year warranty on the frame and finish of all steel and wrought iron furniture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Rust is an inherent quality of steel and wrought iron and cannot be eliminated. All warranty work must be assessed by the service centre and is only valid with original receipt.

Yes, we do. We can replace umbrella strings, cranks, tilts, ribs, covers, and any other minor damage.
Yes, we do. Some parts may not be exact so we will try our best to help you.
We do replace slings on patio furniture. Bring in your chairs to your closest location and choose your fabric. The cost to replace the slings on the chairs starts at $125 and for loungers its $150. The turnaround time for sling repairs is 3 to 5 weeks. If you do not have a vehicle large enough to transport your furniture, we do offer a pick up and re-deliver option for $150.
We do sell replacement glass for our patio tables. If you bring the frame directly into one our stores, they will ship the frame into the service centre for the glass to be fitted into the frame. If you don't have a vehicle large enough for the glass and frame, we do have a local pick up and re-delivery service available for $150. Replacement glass is usually about 60% to 70% of the cost of a new table. If you have a set with a difficult colour to match this might be your best option otherwise, our tables are available separately and you may just find another table to match or upgrade your set.
Yes we do. Generally we charge 10% of the regular price of your item for assembly.
